Associate Professor Dr. Ramazan Özmanevra is one of the pioneering figures in introducing robotic-assisted surgical technologies in the field of orthopedics and traumatology to the region. A team, including himself, was among the first physicians in the region to perform knee replacement surgery using robotic equipment.
In statements to the press, Associate Professor Dr. Özmanevra noted that the precision provided by robotic technology in prosthetic surgery contributes to longer-lasting prosthetic outcomes compared to traditional methods; he also stated that the team’s future goals include expanding this technology to hip and shoulder surgery.
Associate Professor Dr. Özmanevra completed his technical certification in his field from experienced instructors abroad and continues his academic work on orthopedic trauma and sports injuries.
