Prof. Dr. Osman Beton, born in 1977, is a medical professor specializing in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Heart Failure. Prioritizing continuous professional development throughout his academic and clinical career, Prof. Dr. Osman Beton is an active member of numerous national and international cardiology societies. He has contributed to the cardiovascular medicine literature through numerous articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and presentations at scientific congresses.
Prof. Dr. Osman Beton completed his cardiology residency at Ankara University, continued his academic career as an assistant professor and associate professor at Cumhuriyet University and Near East University, and has been serving as a professor at Cyprus International University Faculty of Medicine since 2023.
His academic productivity spans a wide spectrum: he has presented numerous abstracts at national and international congresses on topics such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, atherosclerotic plaque formation, stroke prevention strategies in atrial fibrillation, and the relationship between genetic polymorphisms and heart diseases. He served as an author and issue editor for the electronic publication of the Heart Failure Society, contributing evidence-based approaches to heart failure treatment.
